The last few weeks of this term have been very busy for Key Stage 2 children who have been busy practising for the Christmas show: Cinderella Rockerfella is to be performed on Friday 15 December and Monday & Tuesday 18 & 19 December. The production has come to fruition thanks to the staff and children’s incredible team work as they practised singing, dancing, acting; also creating the set, props and costumes. There is no doubt that the show is a feast for eyes and ears. The show is a contemporary version of the age-old tale of Cinderella, interspersed with song and dance. It is wonderful to see so many individuals taking part as a host of characters appear on the stage: wingless fairies, dancers, good and evil creatures, cooks, speakers and the main characters. All are supported by a full chorus of Year 3 & 4 children. This is indeed a fun-filled show; just the thing to celebrate the start of the Christmas holidays. A huge thank you to Mrs Ann Eleri Thomas for coordinating and directing the show.
