Pupils in the Junior Department celebrated T Llew Jones Day on Wednesday 11 October by sharing and enjoying his poetry. During the day, pupils read and performed the famous poet’s work. In Helygen class, the pupils were inspired to write their own haikus based on the themes explored by T. Llew Jones in his poetry, while pupils in Afallen, responded creatively to the poem ‘Y Lleidr Penffordd’. The poem ‘Pam?’ was the focus for pupils in Derwen class, and they explored rhythm and rhyme by creating a parody of the poem.
